Job Summary
Position Summary:
As a Medical Screener youll help recruit and pre-screen participants for clinical trials. This requires explaining study details and checking medical eligibility by assessing their medical history and conditions. Youll be at the forefront of clinical research connecting with potential study participants and guiding them through the screening process.
Responsibilities:
- Identify contact and screen potential study participants by phone email and text.
- Gather and document detailed medical history medications conditions and procedures.
- Assess participant eligibility based on specific study inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Explain study details visit schedules and answer participant questions.
- Accurately enter data and notes into the system for tracking and compliance.
- Collaborate with site staff to coordinate next steps for qualified participants.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- Must be a Nursing graduate or undergraduate
- Prior experience in the medical field is required
- At least 6 months of call center experience preferably with medium to high call volume experience
- Sound medical knowledge
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system: insurance terms medical conditions common meds
- Clear speaking voice
- Good English communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong customer service and administrative skills
- Detail-oriented
- Willing to work full-time night shift
- Willing to work on weekends
- Willing to work on-site
