Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Lead Data Platform Engineer.

In this role you will lead a team responsible for the strategic development management and optimization of enterprise-grade data platforms pipelines and services reporting directly to the Head of AI ML & Platform Engineering. You will provide expert leadership while driving the DataOps and MLOps platform strategy to deliver scalable high-impact outcomes across the organization.

What the role will entail

Define and own the strategic roadmap for cloud-native data platforms leading their design implementation and ongoing optimization
Establish and govern DataOps and MLOps standards including CI/CD observability automated testing and monitoring
Lead mentor and manage a team of Data Platform Engineers fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement
Ensure platform reliability performance security and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Collaborate closely with Data Scientists Risk Engineering and IT Operations to align platform capabilities with enterprise needs
Drive continuous enhancement of platform services to support scalable enterprise-grade data and ML solutions

What were looking for

Bachelors Degree in either Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related technical field
Relevant certifications preferred including dbt Databricks Confluent Kafka cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and GitLab CI/CD
10 years of experience in data or platform engineering with at least 3 years in DataOps/MLOps leadership and people management
Expert proficiency in dbt Databricks Kafka Airflow or dbt Cloud with strong Python and SQL skills and proven CI/CD automation experience
Deep expertise in DataOps and MLOps practices infrastructure-as-code containerization and banking data governance and risk compliance frameworks
