Job Summary
Hospice of Marion County a part of Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Resale Store Assistant Managerto join our Resale Team in Summerfield FL. In this role the Resale Store Assistant Manager is responsible for development and implementation of the Resale Store policies and procedures in collaboration with the Resale Store Manager management of day-to-day operations.
What youll Do
- Assist Foundation Management in the development and implementation of an annual business plan and budget for the Resale Stores
- Coordinator of procurement of merchandise i.e; donations and gifts
- Coordinate pick-up services through volunteer management
- Manage day-to-day operation of the Resale Store
- Assist with the scheduling of volunteer staff
- Assist with the supervision of volunteer staff
- Opening/Closing
- Accounting Reports and deposits
- Retail display and facility management
- Analyze identify and respond to volunteer needs
- Recruit Resale Store volunteers per various volunteer job descriptions
- Coordinate volunteer training and support.
- Plans promotes and evaluates sales promotions trend analysis problem resolution store inspections volunteer utilization profitability and overall operation of the Resale Stores.
- Adhere to driver safety guidelines.
- Other related duties as assigned.

What Youll Need
- Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED Equivalent is required. Associates degree from two-year college is preferred.
- Experience in retail management and marketing preferably in the thrift industry consignment or used merchandise sales
- Organizational and administrative skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member with volunteers and the community.
Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance
