The Role

Working closely with the Technology and Product teams you will design simple solutions to complex business problems while assuring availability and performance. You will provide ongoing consultation and advice to stakeholders about roadmap features and will implement architectural design best-practices aiding the company projects long-term success. You will provide technical mentorship and support for architectural solution design for both applications and distributed systems.

What Youll Be Doing

• Shape solution architecture for new and evolving products translating business goals into clear technical designs and system boundaries.
• Propose effective high-level architectural solutions to meet cost quality and schedule requirements.
• Develop a deep technical understanding of Sports products workflows their dependencies and their constraints.
• Collaborate with product teams and engineering squads to refine requirements model domain concepts and guide the creation of scalable maintainable systems.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts - Technical Assessments ADRs diagrams reference implementations - that communicate intent with clarity and enable teams to move fast.
• Champion evolutionary architecture ensuring systems can adapt through refactoring modularization and incremental improvement.
• Support delivery teams by providing technical guidance reviewing designs reviewing code and resolving architectural risks early.
• Ensure quality attributes (performance security reliability observability) are designed in rather than bolted on.
• Influence technical direction by evaluating new tools patterns and platforms with a focus on long-term simplicity and alignment with business strategy.
