About the role:

You will act as the first point of contact for tenancy-related queries ensuring clear timely and accurate information. Responsibilities include processing tenancy changes supporting specialist housing services and maintaining high standards of customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality customer-focused tenancy management service.
  • Respond to resident queries within target timescales and update systems accurately.
  • Process tenancy change requests (assignment succession name changes household amendments).
  • Manage the Tenancy Management team inbox and allocate tasks.
  • Coordinate introductory tenancy review panels and support forced entry for gas servicing.
  • Maintain accurate customer contact records and housing management systems.
  • Produce reports correspondence and documents to Council standards.
  • Raise purchase orders process invoices and manage supplier expectations.
  • Support responses to member enquiries complaints and statutory requests (FOI Subject Access).
  • Promote a positive image of the Council and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven administrative experience ideally within a housing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
