Nights: $4.50/hr
Weekends: $3.00/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a high-acuity acute care team supporting a Level II Trauma program. The RRT will deliver comprehensive patient-centered respiratory care across adult and critical care populations. This role provides strong clinical exposure including ventilator management and emergent response with opportunities to expand competencies in vascular access and advanced respiratory support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressures.
Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy.
Initiate monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Assist with placement and management of artificial airways.
Monitor patient response to therapy and escalate care appropriately in collaboration with providers.
Support transport of ventilator-dependent patients.
Respond to emergent situations ensuring airway stability and effective ventilation during resuscitation events.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental hospital and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC and Florida state license required (or pending for newly board-passed graduates).
Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associate Degree or equivalent).
New graduates accepted if boards are passed or license is pending; prior respiratory experience not required.
CRT experience does not qualify for this role.
BLS required.
ACLS PALS and NRP required.
