Position Overview
The Commercial Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and completion of commercial electrical projects. This role requires a balance of hands-on project management and accurate estimating ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout
Prepare detailed cost estimates budgets and proposals
Coordinate with clients contractors and vendors
Develop and manage project schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues
Review drawings specifications and contract documents for constructability
Oversee material procurement subcontractors and labor resources
Track job costs monitor financial performance and prepare progress reports
Ensure compliance with safety standards electrical codes and company policies
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Required Qualifications
5 years of commercial electrical project management experience
Proven experience with electrical estimating (labor material subcontractor pricing)
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems codes and standards
Proficiency with estimating and PM software such as Accubid Bluebeam Procore and/or MS Project
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or related field
Valid electrical license or Journeyman/Master certification
