Currently seeking York PA based dietary workers to fill a full time position at Senior LIFE.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant
As part of this exciting expansion Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking dedicated and compassionate Member Assistant who in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager will prepare meals and assist members with eating and cleanup. As a core member of the kitchen staff the Member Assistant will have many important responsibilities including:
- Assisting in meal preparation and service
- Setting tables setting up and serving trays and pouring beverages
- Assisting during meal times as needed and visiting members in dining areas
- Cleaning up dining dietary and day rooms before and after meal services
- Ensuring safe responsible use of food preparation and service equipment plus storage after use
- Sanitizing work spaces following meal preparation
Qualifications
Requirements of the Kitchen Assistant
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have one years experience working specifically in a healthcare facility
