Job Description
This position is responsible for providing leadership direction and administrative support for instructional programs at Lake Superior College. Participate as part of campus leadership teams to provide an equity focused innovative climate for programs targeted at college transfer occupational preparation for full and part-time students economic development customized training community outreach and other educational and training needs of the community.
Salary Range:
$93713 - $149940
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in a discipline taught in the division or a related discipline is required; 3 or more years of administrative experience at the level of Dean or higher; 3 or more years of higher education teaching experience or equivalent experience working with faculty and students.
Demonstrated knowledge of teaching and/or training
Possess knowledge of higher education organizations curriculum goals vision system policies procedures and contracts fiscal regulations policies and procedures.
Possess managerial and human relations skills.
Knowledge of online learning and student record systems.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with persons from diverse backgrounds and commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Preferred Qualification
Higher Education Teaching experience
Three or more years of experience in Academic leadership
Experience in working in a unionized environment.
Experience seeking and securing other sources of funding.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pm
