A friendly and inclusive primary school in Acton is looking to appoint a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant from January. The school places a strong emphasis on inclusion wellbeing and positive relationships ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.
The SEN department supports pupils with ASD ADHD learning difficulties and SEMH needs and works closely with families and external professionals to provide holistic support.
You will work as part of a supportive SEN team providing both classroom-based and targeted SEN support. The role will involve supporting pupils academically and emotionally helping them to develop confidence independence and positive learning behaviours.
Supporting SEN pupils in class
Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions
Assisting pupils with focus and engagement
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
Implementing SEN strategies and support plans
Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
