Job Summary
The Superintendent will oversee all field operations from preconstruction through project completion. This role serves as the daily on-site representative of the companyensuring quality workmanship enforcing safety standards managing site logistics and maintaining professional communication with clients subcontractors and internal project teams.
Previous experience managing OSHPD/HCAI healthcare construction projects is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of field operations project planning logistics and daily execution.
- Review construction drawings identify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with Project Managers and subcontractors.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite including field office and storage areas.
- Create and update project schedules including detailed 3week or 6week lookahead schedules.
- Conduct weekly foremen and safety meetings; reinforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance.
- Manage project documentation in Procore including daily reports photos inspections and logs.
- Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients subcontractors inspectors and internal teams.
- Represent the company on-site with professionalism reliability and a clean presentable appearance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Experience managing OSHPD/HCAI healthcare projects including IOR coordination and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of project operations simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of construction documents safety regulations and scheduling.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean safe and well-organized jobsite.
