Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews subcontractors and trade partners. This role focuses on field execution site coordination safety scheduling and quality control - not internal employee management. The Construction Manager ensures construction activities are performed according to plans specifications schedules and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews subcontractors and trade partners on assigned projects to ensure alignment with project plans schedules and requirements
- Monitor and facilitate daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is performed safely efficiently and in compliance with project documents.
- Coordinate construction sequencing manpower equipment and materials.
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or field issues.
- Conduct site meetings toolbox talks and coordination meetings with subcontractors and inspectors.
- Review drawings specifications and RFIs to ensure proper field execution.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met.
- Track construction progress and provide regular updates to project leadership.
- Coordinate inspections testing and punch list activities through project completion.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in construction management Engineering Business or equivalent level of experience
- 7-10 years of experience supporting construction engineering or industrial project execution in roles such as Project Administrator Project Specialist or Project Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate engineering teams subcontractors vendors and project stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of local state and federal building codes including mechanical electrical and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) systems ensuring full compliance throughout all phases of construction.
- Experience working in environments involving Hazardous Production Materials (HPM) with a solid understanding of safety protocols regulatory requirements handling procedures and risk mitigation best practices.
- Strong experience managing project documentation schedules change orders purchase orders and contract compliance.
- Experience tracking project risk budgets and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget performance.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and project documentation.
- Working knowledge of construction safety practices and quality-control processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills in multi-discipline project environments.
- Experience supporting projects in industrial manufacturing or semiconductor facility environments including coordination with engineering teams quality control and documentation requirements typical of high-tech production facilities.

- This role will work on site in Roseville CA.
- This position generally works Monday-Friday additional hours as necessary

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications (including education and applicable work experience). The base salary range for this part time position is $90000-$135000. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
