Job Summary
The CVOR RN provides perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures. This role supports the surgical team by delivering safe efficient and clinically appropriate care throughout the intraoperative phase. The CVOR RN functions within established surgical and nursing standards to support optimal patient outcomes. A minimum of two years of recent CVOR or open-heart surgery experience is required.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures

Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties as assigned

Prepare the operating room with required instruments equipment and supplies

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols

Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and perfusion teams during procedures

Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative changes

Document perioperative care accurately in the medical record

Follow departmental policies and clinical practice standards

Active Nevada RN license
-
Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR / open-heart surgery experience

BLS (AHA)
-
ACLS (AHA)
-
Shift: 06:30 18:30
