Job Summary

Medical Coder - IDPRG (Full Time)

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Coder with expertise in IDPRG to join our team in Hyderabad Telangana. This is a full-time permanent position offering a professional and formal work environment.

Responsibilities:

Accurately assign ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT codes to diagnoses and procedures based on clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant coding guidelines regulations and payer policies.
Abstract and analyze clinical information from patient records to support coding decisions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
Participate in audits and reviews to ensure coding accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy () degree.
Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in medical coding.
Proficiency in IDPRG coding systems and methodologies.
Strong understanding of medical terminology anatomy physiology and disease processes.
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding principles.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
