Job Summary

Role: Sr. Fullstack Java with strong front end

Location: Toronto ON (4 days on-site)

Type: Full-time Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java (40%) and React (60%) frameworks.
Build and optimize backend services and microservices leveraging Java Kafka for messaging and Python where applicable.
Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces with React ensuring excellent user experience.
Integrate and manage Kafka messaging systems for real-time data processing and communication.
Collaborate with product managers UX designers and QA teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Ensure code quality performance and security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system reliability.
Stay updated with emerging frameworks tools and best practices; recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot Java EE) and react.
Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
Proficiency in Python scripting and related frameworks/libraries.
Experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills:

Understanding of DevOps practices and container orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Knowledge of other front-end frameworks or libraries.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to data streaming real-time analytics or big data technologies.
