This Registered Nurse position is located in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) a unit connected to the Emergency Department (ED) for patients in observation before potential admission. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to patients in the CDU with a focus on patient assessment medication administration and collaboration with the healthcare team. This is a night shift position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Clinical Decision Unit.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Assist with admissions transfers and discharges.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Clinical Decision Unit.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a KS / Compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED) or Observation Unit.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a KS / Compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED) or Observation Unit.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
