Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes scrubbing for cases patient assessment and collaboration with the surgical team. The role requires flexibility to float between like units and participate in call shifts.
Location:Everett Washington United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the OR.
- Scrub for all procedures (CVOR and General OR).
- Perform patient assessments.
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical team.
- Float between like units as needed.
- Participate in weekend and weekday call shifts.
- Document patient care in EPIC.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to scrub for all procedures (CVOR and General OR).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- CNOR certification.
Special Considerations:

- Must be able to participate in at least one weekend call shift per month and 5 weekday evening call shifts per month.
- Must be able to float between like units.
- No ****s accepted.
- Level II Trauma Center environment.
Scheduling:
- 4x10 day shifts.
- Weekends required for call shifts.
- 70 hours guaranteed per 2 week period.
