Job Summary
Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer- Vulnerability Management
Location: Raritan NJ 08869/ Remote
Mode : Contract (6 Months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain security policies rules and controls within Wiz to align with organizational security requirements
- Monitor and triage security findings from Wiz coordinating with relevant teams for remediation
- Create and maintain documentation related to compliance controls and standards
- Perform regular reviews of Wiz security findings and generate reports for stakeholders
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement security best practices and resolve identified issues
- Assist in incident response activities when Wiz identifies potential security issues
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS Azure)
- Deep understanding of cloud security concepts compliance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with cloud security tools and cloud-native security controls
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Direct experience with Wiz platform
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP CCSP AWS Security Specialty etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform CloudFormation)
- Experience with healthcare compliance standards like HIPPA and HITRUST
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD security integration
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2 ISO 27001 PCI DSS)
