Job Summary

Position- LMSW
Location- Queens NY Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical and trauma-based assessments to identify emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families case planning teams and medical providers.
  • Provide trauma-informed therapy to children and youth.
  • Support youth in developing pro-social and developmentally appropriate behaviors.
  • Coordinate referrals to community mental health and support services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Social Work (LMSW license required or pending within 3 months).
  • 1 3 years of experience providing direct clinical services to children youth and families (preferred).
  • Bilingual Spanish (required).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care including TFCBT and CPP.
  • Commitment to supporting children in foster care through a culturally responsive strengths-based approach.
  • Compliance with all background checks and mandated trainings per NYS requirements.
