Position- LMSW
Location- Queens NY Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical and trauma-based assessments to identify emotional and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families case planning teams and medical providers.
- Provide trauma-informed therapy to children and youth.
- Support youth in developing pro-social and developmentally appropriate behaviors.
- Coordinate referrals to community mental health and support services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Social Work (LMSW license required or pending within 3 months).
- 1 3 years of experience providing direct clinical services to children youth and families (preferred).
- Bilingual Spanish (required).
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care including TFCBT and CPP.
- Commitment to supporting children in foster care through a culturally responsive strengths-based approach.
- Compliance with all background checks and mandated trainings per NYS requirements.
