Job Summary

Title: Business Analyst / Scrum Master

Location: New York City NY (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Description:

The role is for a Business Analyst / Scrum Master responsible for supporting teams operating within the Legal and Compliance space. The individual acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams focusing on Assurance & Legal applications.

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

The primary responsibility of this individual is to drive strategic functional and technical agenda for an integrated Internal Audit platform and act as a BA/PM/SM leveraging technical analytical and problem-solving background to help drive the teams output to success.
The ideal candidate should have a technical background with experience of managing complex technology projects and interacting with multiple senior stakeholders across organizations be a self-driven dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically.
In addition the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever-moving regulatory landscape. When faced with a problem the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skill set of those around him/her.
This role offers the opportunity to extend ones technical knowledge with challenging projects and the use of new technologies while enjoying access to experts in the wide range of domains and best practices at Client.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

The candidate must be a senior business analyst with excellent strategic outlook and proven track record of delivering technological solutions which optimally meet customer needs.
12 years of experience in a technical role that blends hands-on experience and proven delivery success. Previous experience with architecture solutions that integrate with vendor platforms is highly preferred.
Strong leadership skills at least 6 years of experience managing global cross-functional teams independently and with minimal oversight.
12 years of Experience designing and implementing complex multi-tenant technology solutions based on leading architectures/APIs across technology & compliance domains.
Proven ability to groom industry knowledge to understand client needs design competitive solutions and successfully partner with individuals who are sharing the same technology platform.
Excellent trouble-shooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and document root causes of issues and the ability to communicate and manage possible resolutions.
Knowledge of several modern technologies.
Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-cultural teams located globally.
Willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals strong commitment to high quality standards.
Excellent time-management skills; ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives.

Travel:

This position requires someone who can travel to Office (Hybrid) at least 60%. Location is East coast-New York City

Degree:

Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

Proven ability to take ownership and challenge status-quo improve process and drive results.
Strong team spirit and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly motivated flexible proactive and adaptable to change.
Knowledge of Finance products or previous experience within an Investment Bank is a plus.
Hands-on experience with full-stack web application development including Java SQL and frontend technologies is a plus.
