Job Summary

Trial Attorney

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by advocating for clients and guiding them through some of the most important moments of their lives. The Attorney will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal representation while building strong trust-based relationships with clients.

Attorneys in this position are expected to meet with clients to discuss case strategy demonstrate empathy and professionalism and provide consistent updates throughout the lifecycle of each matter. The role also involves communicating with insurance companies regarding claims demands and settlement negotiations. When necessary the Attorney will prepare cases for trial and serve as lead trial counsel.

This is a hands-on litigation role suited for an attorney who takes ownership of their cases and is committed to achieving excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their cases and build trust through clear compassionate communication
  • Maintain ongoing client updates regarding claims demands negotiations and case progress
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Evaluate claims and develop strategic approaches to case resolution
  • Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court when required
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with the legal team

Requirements and Skills:

  • Full-time position
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • 6 or more years of litigation experience
  • 5 or more jury trials as first chair preferred
  • Active member of the Georgia Bar and in good standing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Strong experience evaluating claims and case value
  • Superb negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently in an office environment
  • Team-oriented mindset
