Trial Attorney
In this role you will play a critical part in ensuring clients receive exceptional legal representation and meaningful results during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. You will serve as a trusted advocate-meeting with clients listening with empathy and providing clear guidance throughout the litigation process.
This position offers the opportunity to handle cases from intake through resolution including trial when necessary. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator who combines courtroom confidence with strong client relationship skills and a proactive results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide compassionate clear legal guidance
- Build trust and maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and transparent communication
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status demands negotiations and offers
- Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation strategies
- Prepare cases for trial including discovery motions and trial preparation
- Serve as trial counsel and try cases when required
- Collaborate with internal teams while also working independently to move cases forward efficiently
Requirements & Skills:
- Full-time position
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 6 years of litigation experience
- 5 jury trials as first chair preferred
- Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Strong experience in evaluating claims and case value
- Superb negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently in an office environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
