Trust & Estate Planning Attorney

This position requires a J. D. from an accredited Law School.

We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our growing team. This is an in-house position (NOT remote).

Please dont apply if (these qualifications are non-negotiable):

• You dont live in Connecticut or
• If you arent an attorney barred in Connecticut or
• If you havent been practicing in this field for a minimum of 3 years.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in trusts and estates with a strong understanding of Connecticut law. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented an above-average writer knowledgeable and who also truly enjoys working directly with clients. • Draft review and finalize estate planning documents including wills revocable and irrevocable trusts powers of attorney and healthcare directives.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning probate and trust administration.
• Represent clients in probate court and during estate administration processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients needs.
• Stay current on changes in Connecticut estate law and advise clients accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and client service.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
• Deep knowledge of Connecticut estate planning probate and trust law.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Appreciates structured processes & willingness to adapt.
• Strong technical skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
• Love of dogs and chocolate is a plus!
