Job Summary

Property Litigation Attorney

An established and growing plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a skilled and motivated attorney with experience in first-party homeowner property claims to join its Colorado team. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for homeowners and has experience handling insurance disputes involving hail wind fire water and other property-related losses.

You will manage cases from inception through resolution work on complex coverage and damage issues and represent homeowners against insurance carriers throughout Colorado. This position offers hands-on litigation experience meaningful client advocacy and the opportunity to grow within a well-supported legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims from intake through resolution
Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
Draft pleadings motions discovery and other litigation documents
Take and defend depositions of insureds adjusters experts and corporate representatives
Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration
Represent clients in court including hearings and trials when required
Maintain consistent client communication providing clear updates and legal guidance
Collaborate closely with paralegals legal assistants and fellow attorneys
Stay current on developments in Colorado insurance law and first-party property claims

Requirements & Skills:

Full-time position
2 years of litigation experience (first-party property damage experience is a plus)
Active member of the Colorado Bar in good standing
Strong organizational and case management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently while contributing to a team environment
