Computing & Technology: Fundamental Engineering Cybersecurity Computer Networking
Aviation & Aerospace: Aviation management aviation safety airport operations aerospace systems
Psychology:Clinical psychology social psychology
Key accountabilities
Full-time academics contribute across teaching research and service. Responsibilities may include:
Delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
Designing curriculum assessments and learning materials
Maintaining an active research profile with recognised outputs
Supervising research students
Contributing to School and University committees
Supporting industry engagement and academic community activities
Casual academics contribute to many of the same teaching activities as full-time staff with responsibilities focused on delivering classes supporting assessments and engaging students in line with the established curriculum.
Key selection criteria
Masters degree (for Associate Lecturer) or PhD degree (for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer)
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English-speaking universities in relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate level including online delivery and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
Recognised research profile including substantial record of research outputs in high quality journals.
Industry or professional experience

Overview of selection process:
After your EOI is submitted your profile will be reviewed for current and future opportunities. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted by a Talent Acquisition Advisor to confirm to confirm availability and further assess suitability for opportunities within the school
The formal selection process may include an interview a teaching demonstration (where applicable) and reference checks. Full instructions will be provided if you progress to the next stage
Compliance Requirements
All academic appointments at RMIT Vietnam must meet University and local regulatory requirements including English proficiency background checks and (for international candidates) eligibility for a work permit.
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5 (or equivalent as outlined in the Recruitment Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
