As a Locum MD in Radiation Oncology you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care conducting radiation therapy consultations and developing treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and radiation therapy consultations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology practices
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state of employment
- Completion of residency in Radiation Oncology
- Strong clinical skills and experience in radiation therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 7a-3p specific dates
Daily Census: 15 patients
Duties: Inpatient consults and rounding overseeing scheduled radiation treatments and seeing office patients as needed
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
