Job Summary
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior to join a highly reputable firm of chartered certified accountants based near Whitstable. Our client is looking for an experienced accountancy practice Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior accountant to join their dynamic team and to assist in their ever-growing workload. The successful candidate will be required to complete end to end accounting tasks for a range of sole traders ltd companies and partnerships across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT.
The Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior will be dealing with a wide range of work including:
- Assist Management in the preparation of accounts (sole trader partnership and limited company accounts)
- Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations
- Undertake ad hoc work as requested by management
- Liaise with clients as necessary
Requirements
- You will be studying AAT or AAT qualified or qualified by experience with some experience within practice.
- Experience of Iris Sage or Xero would be advantageous but isnt a prerequisite.
- You may have experience of preparing accounts and tax returns in an accountancy practice environment.
- Full time or part time candidates will be considered.
Benefits
Required Skills:
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
