About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Managing Director Mid-Cap Investment Banking.

In this role you will:

  • Work as the top subject matter expert to lead complex innovative and diverse initiatives with companywide impact and which are high risk and have significant scope cost and benefits
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex significant and companywide challenges
  • Deliver solutions within Investment Banking functional area that are long term large scale broad reaching and which require vision creativity innovation advanced analytical and inductive thinking and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution
  • Provide vision leadership and industry expertise regarding large scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organizations business and financial operations
  • Lead all levels of professionals and managers across the company
  • Serve as an expert advisor within Investment Banking functional area to leadership
  • Represent the company externally in industry networking trade and technical events

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of Investment Banking experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Experience in problem analysis solution implementation and change management
  • Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments
  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder partner or client needs while consulting building solutions and developing processes
  • Experience leading efforts with multiple stakeholder groups

Job Expectations:

  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to accordance with FINRA rules individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207900.00 - $431900.00
