Job responsibility
  • An Application Solution Architect oversees the implementation of IT requirement that meet specific business are responsible for understanding business requirements and translate to development teams ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and guiding the development role requires technical expertise communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Requirement Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business and platform teams to analyse the requirement and work closely with Business Analyst to provide feedback in terms of comprehensiveness of requirement sharing feasibility and high level efforts and timelines.
  • Documentation:
  • Comprehensive and accurate documentation clearly narrates the requirement and proposed solution and its scope unambiguously in such a format that can be shared with all stakeholders for review and approval.
  • After documentation Ensure the solution must be approved and understood in the same sense by all the stakeholders to prevent mistakes / Understanding issues at solution approval stage.
  • Technology Evaluation and New Tech Adoption:
  • Assessing and recommending appropriate technologies platforms and tools for application development.
  • Work in coordination with other departments to incubate new solutions and technology for existing and new businesses.
  • Understand and execute the technology evaluation process and share the assessment report.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies; proactively identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
  • Solution Design
  • Translating business stakeholders needs into a language that will be used by other development teams.
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate IT solution. Review the solution with key stakeholders and take approval.
  • Providing directions to the development team and help with closing queries.
  • Work with multiple development teams to ensure business requirements impacting multiple modules are being translated to respective teams.
  • Responsible for updating and making changes to already existing applications or making new ones according to stakeholders needs.
  • Ensure Solution adheres to IT Security compliance Regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Manage and implement customization requests including creating workflow triggers workflow alerts API integrations automated responses and more.

Finalization of HLD and LLD documenting the solution accurately and in such a format that can be shared with all stakeholders and depends on the type of project the needs and preferences of business and stakeholders.

  • Project Management:
  • Ensure end-to-end project management from requirements assessment to the delivery with timeline and with cost management.
  • Ensure the project milestones are tracked and closed within the timeline.
  • Act like a bridge between the development team and business stakeholders to close loop the queries related to requirement (Eg Business logic Validations other dependencies).
  • Supporting the solution testing and implementation of requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Establish a chain of communication with the stakeholders on the progress of the project.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Development Lifecycle Management:

  • Ensure constant alignment with developers to assess any huddle in development cycle and mitigate to avoid delay in development phase.
  • Ensure timely closure of dependencies from business end or other IT partner with respect to integrations.
  • Testing (SIT/ UAT) Phase Management
  • Ensure availability of technical dependencies (API/ Domain requirement/ IP whitelisting etc during SIT Phase.
  • Ensure Test Scenarios (Functional and Nonfunctional) are available from the stakeholders end and same is shared with testing teams.
  • Keep a track of testing and working with development teams for closure of issues and bug identified during testing phase.
  • Production rollout and Postproduction support.
  • Ensure Timely approval of IT requirement post user testing completion.
  • Align the development team for the rollout of requirement proactively.
  • Communication to stakeholders on the Go live dates.
  • Extend Sanity testing support to stakeholders/ Business function post rollout.
  • Ensure timely fix of any issue or Bug identified in the rolled out functionality/ process.
  • Problem Solving Skills:
  • Ability to analyse complex problems identify root causes and develop creative solutions.
