Job Summary
We are conducting a confidential search for a Plant Manager to lead operations at a large high-volume poultry manufacturing facility. This role has full responsibility for plant performance across production maintenance food safety quality and workforce leadership.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has already operated at scale in a poultry environment including live kill and/or tray pack operations and is comfortable leading in a union setting.
What Youll Own
End-to-end plant operations across multiple production shifts
Leadership of a large diverse workforce in a union environment
Food safety quality and regulatory compliance
Operational efficiency cost control and continuous improvement
Capital improvement planning and execution
Development of plant leadership succession planning and retention
Review and reporting of plant performance expenses and efficiency metrics
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
Proven leadership experience in poultry manufacturing
Direct experience with live kill operations and/or tray pack
Experience leading large complex teams in a union environment
Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements
Track record of driving operational improvements in high-volume facilities
Ideal Background
8 years of experience in poultry or protein manufacturing
6 years in plant or operations leadership roles
Experience overseeing multi-shift operations
Comfortable working in fast-paced regulated environments
