As the Senior Manager Strategic Programs you will lead the development and delivery of Qantas Engineerings strategy and major transformation programs. This senior leadership role drives operational excellence cost efficiencies and regulatory compliance while overseeing complex high-impact projects and multidisciplinary teams including a team of project and program managers.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery Performance & Strategy youll shape long-term engineering initiatives manage stakeholder engagement at executive levels and champion continuous improvement across Qantas Engineering.

Youll have

• Proven ability to develop and deliver long-range engineering strategy and enterprisewide transformation programs (including business cases governance benefits realisation and risk management).
• Extensive experience leading complex highimpact crossfunctional programs from inception to delivery structuring PM teams coordinating interdependent projects and maintaining safety/regulatory alignment.
• Strong commercial judgement with experience building investment cases evaluating performance improvements and driving cost efficiencies.
• Experience in engaging and influencing senior executives and external stakeholders representing engineering in key forums and translating strategy into clear actionable plans.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing leaders and multidisciplinary teams setting performance goals building capability and driving succession planning.
