Key Responsibilities:
Production Optimization & Cost Efficiency
- Maximize Oil Production: Provide timely technical support and optimize daily oil production based on performance reports strictly adhering to operational and safety constraints.
- Chemical Management: Develop maintain and rigorously track the chemical injection plan and associated budget including executing Management of Change (MOC) procedures for chemical transitions.
- System Enhancement: Continuously analyze and improve process systems to identify and remove bottlenecks and optimize overall workflow efficiency.
- Artificial Lift Design: Lead the design and evaluation of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) installations to assess and enhance well performance and boost production.
- Budget & OPEX Control: Prepare accurate OPEX (Chemical) budget inputs with clear cost estimates. Propose and implement cost-effective methods and equipment to reduce OPEX and maximize output.
Field Support & Technical Advisory
- Site Engagement: Conduct regular site visits to provide hands-on support enforce operational standards and promptly resolve field requests and issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key technical advisor to Production Engineering Drilling/HWO and Brownfield teams ensuring the implementation of optimal solutions.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and submit regular production reports (deferred activity process loss) to support timely and accurate production planning. Effectively communicate key updates and information across the field and management teams.
Safety Compliance & Risk Management
- HSSE Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) policies (e.g. spill prevention fire safety) in alignment with Company and International Standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Actively manage all operational risks to an As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) level.
- Regulatory Support: Provide technical input to the HSSE and Public Affairs teams for required reports and immediate troubleshooting.
Special Projects & Shutdown Management
- Project Feasibility: Support feasibility studies for identified production proposals with a focus on thorough cost-benefit analysis.
- Project Leadership: Lead the field trial execution for special projects as required.
- Shutdown Coordination: Serve as a Shutdown Coordinator providing essential support to the Operations Manager during planned outages.
Who You Are: Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Education: Relevant degree in Engineering (e.g. Petroleum Chemical Mechanical) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Oil and Gas environment demonstrating the ability to fulfill the diverse aspects of this key position.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of well management chemical management process equipment (including rotating equipment) flow assurance shutdown management control & automation and ICSS.
