General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times.
- To ensure the overall performance install ability and operability of subsea systems.
- To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign.
- Assuring that the design meets Project requirements applicable standards and engineering best practices developing COMPANYs know-how in this area.
- Consistency quality and cost effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes COMPANY standards and specifications Contract International Standards and Engineering Best Practices.
- Site Inspection and Interfacing with Contractor on technical and Delivery issues.
- Ensuring Delivery of the Subsea Components in line with the Project objectives Technical interfaces and Requirements.
Key activities:
- Assisting the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:
- Follow up the detail Engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea Production Tree systems subsea tieins ROV tools and subsea structures.
- Reviewing and commenting on technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. reports specifications procedures drawings etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures applicable codes COMPANY standards and specification Contract International Standards and Engineering Best practices
- Resolving ongoing technical queries / issues concerning all aspects of the subsea equipment.
- Monitoring and Reporting Technical Progress to the SPS Lead / Package Manager.
- Ensure that all internal and external interfaces are correctly managed by Contractor.
- Witness of SUI FAT SIT EFAT.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Engineering Degree.
- At least 7 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
- At least 5 years of subsea engineering.
- At least 2 similar activities ( subsea EPC project follow up).
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total with at least the last 35 years spent on offshore projects.
- Excellent spoken and written English and proven ability to write specifications and reports.
