Summary:
The Resilience Support Coordinator is a vital backbone role within Camden Council ensuring the borough is prepared to respond to and recover from emergencies. Operating within the framework of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 you will provide high-level administrative and logistical support to the Resilience managing complex schedules and emergency documentation to coordinating business continuity activities your work directly strengthens Camdens ability to protect its community and maintain essential services during disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and maintain the 24/7 on-call rota for the Emergency Response Team ensuring 100% coverage and accuracy.
- Maintain organized file storage for emergency plans and business continuity documents ensuring strict version control and compliance.
- Organise logistics for training sessions emergency exercises and workshops including room bookings and material preparation.
- Support the collection and logging of data following incidents and exercises to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of summary reports and mandatory statutory returns to ensure regulatory compliance.
Essentials:
- Proven experience providing coordination support within a large complex organization.
- Experience organizing meetings and training events including managing invitations and attendance records.
- Experience handling multiple competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
