This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Internal Logistics Engineering (ILE) teamsupporting the delivery of major operational projects while gaining real practical experience in a fastpaced environment. Whether youre early in your career or looking to break into engineering/operations this role gives you the platform to learn grow and make an immediate impact.
What Youll Be Doing
As an ILE Coordinator youll play a key role in enabling safe efficient movement of bodyshells and supporting onsite operational improvements:
- Coordinate and plan the internal process for delivering eK0 bodyshells.
This includes installing hoists and helping design or modify trailers to ensure safe damagefree movement. - Support the ILE team on a variety of shopfloor tasks from building flow racks to clearing areas for new kitting cells.
- Direct and guide a small DIY team (3 FLT drivers) to complete ILErelated tasks.
- Work crossfunctionally with multiple departments to enable engineering and logistics improvements.
- Stay handsonthis is not a deskonly role. Youll blend planning with real shopfloor activity daily.
- Use basic IT skills especially Excel to support planning and coordination.
Qualifications :
- Basic engineering knowledge or experience
- Confidence guiding a small team
- Computer literacy (particularly Excel V-Lookups)
- Interest in learning growing and getting handson across different areas
- Enjoy working on the shop floornot just behind a desk
Additional Information :
- Location: Ellesmere Port
- Initial 12 month contract with potential to be extended
- Salary/rate will depend on experience
