DescriptionThe Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Principal Engineer is a key role within our organization responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

By developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies and leading cross-functional teams you will contribute to the advancement of our manufacturing capabilities. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity
- Identify and evaluate cutting edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers at all levels and stakeholder organizations.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (Masters or Ph.D. preferred)
- Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
- Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation robotics and additive manufacturing
- Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Significant relevant experience in engineering and manufacturing companies within the aerospace defense and or automotive industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with executive level leadership.
- Ability to work and lead effectively in cross-functional environment.
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. person which is defined as a U.S. citizen a U.S. permanent resident or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
