We are working with a highly regarded Independent secondary school in Essex that is seeking an ambitious and skilled Teacher of Design Technology to join their forward-thinking department from January. This is a full-time permanent role offering the opportunity to teach in a setting with smaller class sizes excellent facilities and a genuine emphasis on high-quality teaching and learning.
You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to support or contribute to KS5 depending on experience and specialism. The department places strong emphasis on practical skill development design thinking and problem-solving allowing students to engage deeply with the subject.
You will be involved in curriculum planning assessment and enrichment including design projects exhibitions and cross-curricular initiatives. Specialisms such as Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering or CAD/CAM would be particularly welcomed though flexibility is valued.
