We are supporting a high-performing secondary school in the Romford area that is looking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Art Technician to support their Art department from January. This is a full-time term-time role ideal for someone with a hands-on background in Art or creative production.
You will work closely with Art teachers to provide technical and logistical support across lessons and practical sessions. Responsibilities include preparing resources maintaining equipment and ensuring that Art spaces are safe organised and well stocked.
The role plays a vital part in supporting student creativity and enabling high-quality practical outcomes.
Key duties include:
Preparing and maintaining materials for practical Art lessons
Supporting staff with classroom setup and clear-down
Maintaining tools equipment and studio spaces
Assisting with displays exhibitions and enrichment activities
Managing stock resources and health & safety checks
