As an Instrument & Process Control Technician at OSCABE you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our production processes. Your expertise in instrumentation and control systems will ensure that our operations run efficiently and safely. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot issues implement improvements and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will report to and work closely with the Calibrations and Controls Engineer.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
Troubleshoot and repair process control systems and instruments
Calibrate and validate measurement and control equipment
Document maintenance activities and update equipment performance records
Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and optimize control systems
Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental regulations
Requirements
Completed degree in Electrical Instrumentation Process Control or a related field (HND minimum requirement)
Prior experience in a similar role within a continuous manufacturing process environment
Strong understanding of process control systems instrumentation and automation equipment
Experience with PLCs DCS SCADA systems and other control technologies
Experience with process control project management
Experience in control system design and software engineering
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Willingness to work in shifts as required
