Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused After Sales Service Engineer to join a leading company in the construction machinery industry. Our client a prominent manufacturer known for its cutting-edge equipment and commitment to quality is looking to expand their service team to deliver exceptional after-sales support to their customers.

As an After Sales Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of construction machinery across various sectors. Your technical expertise and dedication to customer service will directly impact equipment uptime customer satisfaction and overall service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Perform diagnostics repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of construction equipment including excavators loaders bulldozers motor graders skid steer loaders and rollers.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic electrical and electronic system failures using OEM diagnostic software.

  • Provide both remote and on-site technical support to ensure minimal downtime for customers.

Field Service & Customer Support

  • Conduct regular service visits inspections and emergency repairs at customer sites.

  • Advise customers on best practices for equipment operation maintenance schedules and spare parts management to optimize machine performance.

  • Prepare detailed service reports including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to document and resolve issues.

Warranty & Spare Parts Coordination

  • Validate warranty claims and collaborate with manufacturers for approvals.

  • Recommend and coordinate the ordering of genuine spare parts ensuring timely delivery and proper parts management.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Provide training to customers and operators on safe equipment use and basic troubleshooting.

  • Stay informed about new product technologies and service manuals to continuously enhance your expertise.

  • Assist in new product launches product testing and customer demonstrations.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to OEM guidelines and local safety regulations while conducting repairs and service visits.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of construction machinery.

  • A degree in Engineering Construction Machinery or a related field.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to react quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
