Job Summary
Were hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer skilled in React / TypeScript to join a growing product team for our client in Valencia. Youll work closely with a Tech Lead Product Manager and Designer to build and scale the user-facing layer of a modern content operations platform with AI-powered features.
This is a hands-on role focused on frontend excellence with some full-stack exposure when needed. Youll be part of building the engineering hub in Spain of this company originally from the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React / TypeScript applications across client user and admin interfaces
- Translate designs into high-quality responsive and accessible UIs
- Design scalable component architectures and reusable UI patterns
- Collaborate in 6-week Shape-Up cycles shipping fast and iterating pragmatically
- Integrate with backend APIs and make small backend changes (Laravel/PHP) when needed
- Optimize performance bundle size and frontend reliability
- Collaborate closely with Product Design and AI teams
Requirements
- Minimum 7-8 years of frontend development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with React TypeScript
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments
- Product-minded engineer who understands UX trade-offs and delivery
- Comfortable collaborating with designers and PMs
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Full-stack exposure (Laravel/PHP is a plus)
- Experience with Shape-Up or similar agile methods
- Experience building design systems or component libraries
- Interest in AI-powered products or workflow automation
