Now we are looking for a Junior Energy engineer in our office in Madrid Spain.

Intermediate Energy Engineer will develop the group IPS process and sustainability services while contributing to projects related to sustainable initiatives energy audits and assessment in industrial environments.

The candidate should have experience in the field of environmental technologies and low carbon energies. It is key that the candidate has good interpersonal skills good communication skills strategic thinking and a good network to provide insights on the moves of the industry and the implementation of the services.

What is the role About

As a Energy engineer you will develop:

Assessment of industrial projects to optimise energy consumption and define alternative technologies and energy sources supporting the transition towards carbon neutrality.

Support to commercial development activities across the following areas:

o Energy efficiency in industrial environments waste-to-energy solutions and self-consumption initiatives

o Carbon footprint calculation and definition of reduction strategies

o Wastewater management assessments and related recommendations

o Emissions measurement analysis of alternatives and emissions management.

o Energy transition projects

Strong interest in the Hydrogen Economy.

Economic and financial analysis of projects.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Industrial Energy Chemical or Related Fields)
24 years of relevant experience in industrial or Energy related Projects.
Proven experience in sustainable Energy and Energy efficiency projects within industrial environments.
Experience working with technological solutions and managing suppliers.
Strong Communications Skills in English and Spanish French is considered a plus.
Flexible to Travel up to 35% of the time on a yearly basis.
