Job Summary

Job Title : Senior Network Engineer - R1012510

Location : Dallas TX (Hybrid and onsite in Dallas)
Duration : 12 Months Contract (Potential for extension)

Pay Rate : $80

Qualifying Questions:

Do you have 12 years of recent networking expertise supporting an enterprise environment
Do you have 10 years experience designing configuring and troubleshooting complex WAN/Velo Cloud SD-WAN solutions including advanced knowledge of BGP and QoS
Do you have end-to-end lifecycle experience (design configuration installation administration) with large-scale enterprise networks
Do you have strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies including design installation maintenance and support
Do you have experience performing deep-dive troubleshooting using packet captures flow analysis and tools such as Wireshark Panorama logs and VeloCloud analytics
Do you have hands-on experience with automation or scripting (Python Ansible REST APIs) to streamline network operations or configurations
Do you have experience working in ITIL-based environments including creating RCAs reviewing changes and leading P1/P2 incident bridge calls
Do you have CCNP certification or equivalent level
Do you have Palo Alto advanced knowledge (Global infrastructure management Panorama Distributed User-ID advanced Global Protect)
Do you have wireless experience with Cisco WLC 802.1x/MAB and Distributed Flexconnect deployments
Do you have hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switching and its integration with VMware vSphere (network/vSwitch configuration)
Do you have hands-on experience in deploying and managing network resources within AWS and/or Azure (VPC/VNet Transit Gateway/Hub)
Have you served as a Technical Lead on major network projects including documenting standards and mentoring junior engineers

Job Description:

Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of computing or computer science or a related field.

12 years of recent network engineering expertise supporting an enterprise environment
10 years experience on:
WAN:

SD-WAN
Advanced BGP
DMVPN
Quality of Service (QoS)

Security:

Palo Alto advanced knowledge (Global infrastructure management Panorama Distributed User-ID advanced Global Protect configuration)
F5 configuration troubleshooting and maintenance
Cisco ISE distributed deployment (Wireless 802.1x Wired 802.1x Guest IoT TACACS)
Cisco ASA (with routed-VPN implementation and troubleshooting)
PKI Knowledge
Proficiency in Zscaler (desirable)

Wireless:

Distributed Flexconnect deployments

Nexus
VMware vSphere knowledge

Cloud:

AWS
Azure

Demonstrated experience in all phases of the design configuration installation and administration of large-scale networks.
Cisco expertise CCNP certification or equivalent level.
Strong security experience with firewall technologies installation maintenance and support.
