Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Application Engineer (EUC Engineer) to support and engineer end-user productivity platforms and endpoint environments. This role focuses on Microsoft 365 productivity tools Windows and macOS endpoint engineering and vulnerability and patch management across enterprise workstations.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with macOS management (Jamf Intune Tanium) strong application engineering capabilities and a security-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
End User Application Engineering
-
Engineer and support end-user productivity applications including:
-
Outlook Microsoft Teams SharePoint Online
-
Windows 365 (W365) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
-
-
Package deploy and manage enterprise applications across Windows and macOS platforms.
macOS & Endpoint Engineering
-
Administer and maintain Jamf Pro including policies configuration profiles smart groups and extension attributes.
-
Create test and deploy macOS configuration profiles software packages and OS updates.
-
Manage macOS device lifecycle from provisioning (Apple Business Manager / Zero Touch) to decommissioning.
Endpoint Security & Vulnerability Management
-
Perform vulnerability management for Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoints.

Manage patching and remediation for applications such as Adobe Java and other third-party tools.

Utilize Tanium for real-time endpoint visibility patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Automation & Scripting
-
Develop and maintain automation using Bash zsh or Python to streamline configuration deployment and remediation tasks.
Troubleshooting & Escalation
-
Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex macOS application and endpoint issues.

Troubleshoot OS application and network-related endpoint problems.
Compliance & Collaboration
-
Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with internal standards CIS benchmarks and security frameworks.

Maintain documentation standards and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
8-10 years of experience in Desktop / EUC / Endpoint Engineering.

Strong experience with macOS management and engineering.
-
Hands-on expertise with Jamf Pro administration.

Experience using Tanium for endpoint management and security.

Strong experience with Microsoft 365 productivity tools (Outlook Teams SharePoint Online).

Experience with Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

Proven experience with vulnerability management and patching for Windows and macOS endpoints.

Strong scripting skills using Bash zsh or Python.

Excellent troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
Desirable Skills

Experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint and application management.

Familiarity with SCCM / SCOM in EUC environments.

Knowledge of enterprise endpoint security frameworks and compliance standards.
Technical Skills
