Rhapsody Developer (Hybrid)

$80/hr on C2C / 1099 all inclusive (OR) $75/hr on W2

Remote or On-site:

Accepting local candidates and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expenses with no delays. Position will be hybrid in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.

Interview Process:

The State of Michigan is looking for two resources to support Rhapsody Health Development and Operations activities. You will see two job descriptions attached to this posting with one position being for more Development focused and one that is more Operational/Admin focused. Both roles are at the same rate supporting the same team and have the same skill requirements; but each just has slightly different day-to-day responsibilities. Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Analyze and provide a solution to the problems/issues in Rhapsody

• Code debug and enhancements

• Rhapsody maintenance

• Support Server Patches Restart the Rhapsody application.

• Renew and Install HESB Server certificates

• Support application system maintenance

• Install application system certificates and resolve any connection issues

• Manage error queue and hold queue. Reprocess them as needed.

• Clear Rhapsody alerts and take a necessary action on the alert

• Produce Latency Response reports

• Generate Monthly Status reports

• Code fix for any production issues

• Code migration to production

• Rhapsody version upgrades and related testing

• Communicating with users and external applications for any issues

• Rhapsody memory management and manage the storage

• Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g. JSON XML HL7) to a different format (e.g. proprietary/legacy format)

• Experience using web services SOAP REST OAUTH TCP-connections LLP etc.

• Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS mutual authorization via certificates etc.
