Job Summary

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Greenville SC 29607
Job Type: Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Position Summary:

Warehouse Associates are responsible for executing day-to-day warehouse operations supporting the receipt storage picking packing and shipment of goods. This role ensures that all warehouse activities are performed safely accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory integrity within the ERP (SxE) system. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but training is available.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive unload inspect and put away incoming materials and merchandise
Verify shipments against invoices and report discrepancies or damage
Sort label and store products on racks shelves or bins according to warehouse layout
Pick pack and stage orders using paper or electronic pick sheets
Load outbound shipments and secure freight to prevent damage in transit
Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts reach trucks cherry pickers and pallet jacks
Consolidate freight and prepare shipments for customer delivery
Accurately enter and maintain inventory data in ERP systems (SxE)
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Comply with all safety policies and warehouse procedures
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1 year of warehouse experience and/or training preferred (not required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience with picking packing loading unloading and material handling
Forklift reach truck or cherry picker experience preferred (training provided)
Ability to read and interpret work orders safety rules and procedures
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse systems
Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
