Job Summary

Job Summary

The Hotel Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel ensuring that all departments function efficiently and provide exceptional service to guests. This role requires strong leadership skills excellent customer service abilities and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing guest needs managing staff and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all hotel departments including front desk housekeeping and food services to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor room availability occupancy levels and rates to optimize hotel revenue.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Train mentor and evaluate hotel staff to enhance performance and service quality.
  • Create work schedules and delegate tasks effectively among team members.
  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any complaints or issues promptly.
  • Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure that all guest requests are handled efficiently and courteously.
  • Assist the General Manager with budgeting financial planning and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory payroll and operational expenses.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations within the hotel.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges efficiently.


Benefits

Pay: 100000.00 (NGN) - 150000.00 (NGN) per month
