Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineering Coordinator to support PW1100G production quality activities specifically focusing on non-conformance disposition (IR disposition). This role involves close coordination with internal teams customers and an offshore engineering partner to ensure timely accurate and high-quality deliverables.
Essential Functions
- Manage PW1100G production quality non-conformance disposition activities (IR disposition)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IR disposition tasks and priorities in coordination with the offshore team
- Coordinate daily tasks and technical discussions with customer engineers
- Organize and participate in daily or frequent meetings with offshore team; prepare meeting minutes as required
- Access the customer TeamCenter system to download IR data share information with offshore team populate IR dispositions and upload technical documentation
- Coordinate work delivery across multiple geographic locations
- Maintain and update IR task status and activity logs in task management tools (e.g. Excel) on a daily basis
- Review and revise deliverables as necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Generate Engineering Change Management (ECM) documentation
- Support the preparation of monthly or ad hoc work specifications for purchase orders
- Ensure timely and complete delivery of assigned work from offshore team
- Review the quality of deliverables and drive improvements to align with Customer standards and requirements
- Support the review of quotations work scope definitions and invoice processing
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English for business and technical discussions
- Proven ability to manage tasks proactively and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
