The Role

This is a key role providingadministrative and production support to the weekly current affairs program Four Corners.

The Job

Reporting to the Senior Production Lead you will be responsible for:

  • High level administrative support to the Executive Producer Supervising Producer Senior Production Lead and editorial staff
  • Perform PHW rostering for all staff overseeing and tracking leave and hours worked
  • Expense reconciliation and invoice processing using Concur and MyRequests
  • Maintain databases with accuracy using SharePoint and Excel
  • Coordinate and book domestic travel and filming spaces for the production teams
  • Co-ordinate the weekly compilation and delivery of the program
  • Completion of Ready for Distribution (RforD) copyright deliverables
  • Overall office management of the Ultimo space ensuring a tidy and organised office
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other program departments and resource/service providers
  • Manage audience correspondence ensuring complaints are dealt with according to ABC Editorial Policies
  • Manage the maintenance and control of office assets and repairs
  • Planand organiseteam events and meetings

About You

Youre a natural organiser with solid administrative skills and proven ability toprioritise tasks to effectively manage workflow and output with an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.

Youll also have:

  • High level and excellent communication skills
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving. Use initiative in in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities
  • Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail within a deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency using PHW (People Hub Workforce) Concur Microsoft Office 365 (Excel intermediate or advanced) and Outlook
  • Dedication to working collaboratively and harmoniously within a dynamic environment
  • Aspirations of becoming a Production Manager
  • General understanding of and interest in news/current affairs. An understanding of production and content making is desirable
