Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant cum Technical Writer to support our engineering projects and management teams. The role involves technical documentation office coordination and written communication related to elevators projects and AMC works.
This is a desk-based role with strong exposure to engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Writing & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain:
- Technical documents specifications and notes
- GAD-related descriptions and clarifications
- Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
- AMC scope documents and part lists
- Edit format and standardize technical content provided by engineers
- Ensure documents are clear structured and client-ready
Office & Project Support
- Prepare professional emails MOMs and reports
- Assist in tender documentation and submissions
- Maintain project files (soft copies and records)
- Coordinate between engineering sales and site teams
- Support management with presentations and documentation
Data & Records Management
- Maintain Excel trackers for projects drawings and documentation
- Ensure version control and document accuracy
- Support basic MIS and reporting
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate (Engineering diploma / / / BA with technical exposure preferred)
- 25 years of experience in office coordination or technical documentation
- Strong written communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of MS Word Excel PowerPoint
- Ability to understand technical drawings and engineering terminology (training will be provided)
- Good typing speed and attention to detail
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Background in engineering office EPC manufacturing or technical services
- Organized methodical and documentation-focused
- Able to work closely with engineers and management
- Willing to learn elevator systems and standards
